First, I should start off by saying that if you're a returning customer, and you want an urn to match one that you purchased from us before, we will be happy to make your order.

As for why we're not taking custom orders at this moment, basically we just fell too far behind after an incredible winter's weather froze our studio and brought production to a halt.

 We have to clear our board of custom orders before we can take any new ones and we expect that will be sometime this spring.

 When we do go back to taking custom orders, there will be some changes. After making urns with Ann for the last 8 years while on "sabbatical" from my career as a professional chef, I bought a little food wagon and will be opening that here in town this spring. (Ann and I are still fine! I'm just changing jobs is all.)

 So, I won't be able to continue to help Ann with the urn orders anymore but before I can take leave, we need to be caught up completely and we expect that will take most of this spring.

 As of this writing, the 1st Saturday of spring; the studio is thawed, Ann's finishing up our taxes today and there's a line of 15 urns drying on the shelf getting ready for their first firing. Things are getting back to normal.
