Inscriptions can be put into hearts, clouds, bones, or even a crown. Another option is to have inscription inscribed (actually stamped) straight into the vessel.

Oh, and if you see a custom inscription among my examples, like the ones below, that means, the stamp is made, that's most of the work, so can be considered 'favorite' at 'favorite' price.
